Pika Art

My name is Loren Rausch and I grew up in the hills of Montana.  I am inspired by the mountains, cultures, and people that have touched me.  I paint in watercolor, mostly local scenes, and from location or from pictures I have personally taken.  Every painting has a story and like the small pika that lives among the images the paintings are intertwined with the fabric of place.  I hope you enjoy the art.  Pika Art.

Photos from top left clock wise:  Bears Tooth Spire, Granite peak, the Three Sisters, Indian creek (UT), Mantua bison (WY), West fork brook trout, Crow Fair tepees, Whitetail peak.
